Research and Policy Officer

We are currently recruiting for a full time Research and Policy Officer on a temporary basis.  This is a Band 5 role, which will sit within a Research and Policy team but will work closely across Involvement, Advocacy and Support services.  

The Research Officer will lead and deliver statutory function to undertake research and conduct investigations into the best methods and practices for consulting the public about and involving them in matters relating to health and social care. The post holder will work on a wide range of research projects, employing a range of different research methodologies  

 This is a Band 5 role, based in the  Belfast office. Other office locations (Lurgan/Ballymena/Omagh) may be considered.  Working hours are generally 9-5pm with flexibility required outside of these hours. 

The role may be particularly suitable for individuals with experience in policy research and information management to support policy influence.

 CRITERIA

A university degree or relevant professional qualification and have worked for at least 2 years in a role gathering qualitative and quantitative information using research methodologies

OR
Have worked for at least 2 years in the last 4 years in a research function, in a role gathering qualitative and quantitative information using research methodologies  

 

AND

Full Driving Licence and access to a car on appointment.
