Sales Consultant

Keenan Recruitment is delighted to have been retained our client to recruit for a Sales Consultant to join their team, based in Belfast (BT3)

Our Client is a forward thinking, market leader in the fire and security industry, specialising in providing future-proof solutions and delivering services to a broad range of customers, and tailoring each solution to meet the clients’ specific needs

The Role

Working closely with senior management, the Sales Consultant’s role will be to generate sales revenue for the company with a focus on solution-based selling.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Actively promote company products and services during planned visits to potential new customers, or existing customers seeking to expand their systems.
• To coordinate or independently carry out sales surveys, in accordance with the required codes of practice or industry norms expected by NSI
• To create a professional sales proposal in line with company branding and NSI requirements, and deliver this to the customer or third party in the most effective manner
• Responsibility for sales and design paperwork, ensuring it is completed accurately, in line with the contract requirements and NSI regulations
• Attend networking events, exhibitions and trade shows, representing the company in a professional manner, promoting the principals of integrity, good business practice, and excellence in customer care at all times

Essential Criteria

• Understanding of fire and security systems technology
• Awareness and comprehension of the applicable Standards and Codes of Practice
• Excellent interpersonal skills, professional and able to deliver presentations well
• Excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of success in sales

• Optional 4 day week
