Occupational Health Assessor

Laura-Lee has an exciting part time permanent opportunity to develop and deliver a Health and Wellness strategy within a Construction company based in Belfast. This is an Occupational Health focused role and you will be responsible for Occupational Health Screening & Health Surveillance, providing specialist services in sickness absence management and provide advisory services for the team of over 100 staff across Belfast and London.

Job Summary

- Part Time Flexible working up to 20hrs per week – salary £40,000 pro rata – travel to London required monthly

- Completion and recording of Health Assessments looking at key indicators – Respiratory Health, Heart Health, Muscle/Bones/Joints, Urinalysis, Hearing and Eyesight

- Health Promotion in line with current Health and Wellbeing Initiatives inc Policy development

- Seasonal Flu Clinics

- Pre- employment and Occupational Health review/return to work when required

Person Specification

- Nurse or Occupational Health professional with NMC/HCPC registration

- Health promotion and assessment experience

- Ability to design and set up a clinic from scratch

- Ability to accurately record and track health information using data analysis

- Knowledge of risks specific to the construction industry

- Excellent communicator to engage with clients individually and in group settings
