On behalf of our public sector client, we are recruiting for a HR Administrator based in Lisburn. You will be responsible for providing a professional and confidential administrative service for all aspects of the Human Resources function in accordance with the internal HR policy framework and carrying out general HR duties such as calculating annual leave, updating employee records, attend meetings and liaise with other departments etc. The post is temporary (full time) for a minimum of 6 months. Free onsite parking. Immediate start available.This is a great opportunity to gain public sector experience.
Essential criteria:
Minimum of 5 GCSE's at Grade C or above, or equivalent, to include English and Maths
PLUS
At least two years’ experience of working in an HR administration function.
Competent in the use of Windows and other Microsoft applications.
Experience meeting the needs of both internal and external customers.
Possess a full, current UK driving licence or have access to a form of transport which will enable the post holder to fulfil the full requirements of the post in full
Desirable Criteria
Have experience of working in an HR administration function within a large, multisite, multi-disciplinary organisation.
Be working towards CIPD membership
Have experience of working within local government or the public sector
