Social Work and Support Workers - LAC

LAC Social Worker and Support Workers, Ballymena

The service seeks to return children/young people in care to live with their birth family/extended family, offering support while this happens, but where return is not possible, to find a permanent option using a variety of legal options.

 

Teams regularly visit children/young people to support and monitor their well being and also to listen to their views about their situation. They prepare a Care Plan for each child to facilitate development of his/her physical and emotional well being, including regular contact with schools and to update on the progress of the children/young people.

 

Social Workers and Support Workers required – open to AYE. Mon to Fri 0900 – 1700. Driving Licence and Access to a car.

 

Social Workers required – open to AYE.  Mon to Fri 0900 – 1700.  Driving Licence and Access to a car.  Band 4 - £11.52; Band 5 - £13.12; Band 6 - £16.52per hour.
