We are delighted to be expanding our Customer Care Division for one of our Charity Partners NSPCC. 

Customer Care services are the first and comprehensive point of contact for supporters and people wanting to find out more about the NSPCC’s work. They are responsible for providing a proactive and high-quality service to help inspire people to give (and continue to give) to the NSPCC’s work. The knowledgeable frontline team handles supporter enquiries, administrative matters and deal with any complaints. The team represents the NSPCC and Childline services and is able to discuss our work and its impact on children in an engaging and enthusiastic manner.  You will also be responsible for spreading the magic of Christmas to children across the UK as part of the Letter From Santa annual campaign (Find out more - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5gGHUAy2jSM)

 

Hours of Work

This live service will operate Monday to Friday 8am – 10pm and 9am – 6pm at the weekends, with an automated service at other times. To deliver and support achieving this, Helpline Advisors – Business & Supporter Care are required to work a variety of different shifts on a 14 week rotational pattern, between 8am and 7pm. (Example rota on request).

 

Length of Contract

3 month fixed term (with possible extension).  4 posts available.

 

Salary set £10.71per hour.  £20,884pa pro rata

 

Location: Fully office based role in offices in Jennymount Business Park - free parking available on site (currently under review)

 

CRITERIA:

 

  1. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills: able to communicate accurately, clearly, concisely, with colleagues, service users, members of the public and outside agencies with integrity and good judgment on the telephone and in writing.
  2. Experience of working in an office environment providing secretarial/administrative support
  3. Ability to follow guidelines and procedures and to work to set standards without supervision.
  4. Excellent written and oral communication skills: ability to write emails, letters and notes of meetings clearly, concisely and accurately, and input information accurately into the database.  Dealing effectively, efficiently and appropriately with supporters, staff, senior managers and external organisations.
