B3 Dietetic Support Worker

We are recruiting for a Band 3 Dietetic support worker for a post based in Belfast City Hospital.

• £10.40 per hour
• Monday - Friday 

Job Summary

The Dietetic Support Worker will work under the guidance and supervision of the Dietitians in the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust and will be involved in the practical aspects of implementing and monitoring the nutritional recommendations made by the Dietitians. The Dietetic Support Worker will also undertake some routine administrative and clerical duties as required by the dietetic staff.

The Dietetic Support Worker can work in clinical services or health improvement services. The health improvement service includes the Community Dietetic Health & Wellbeing team and/or the Regional Food and Schools Coordinator.

Essential Criteria

1 years paid experience working directly with patients /clients in a health or social care setting and routinely using IT skills.

5 GCSE level passes at C/4 or above or equivalent including English language and Mathematics OR

QCF or NVQ Level III Health and Social Care (or equivalent). OR 2 years paid experience working directly with patients /clients in a health or social care setting and routinely using IT skills.

Hold a current full driving license valid in the UK/Ireland and access to a car on appointment.
