Job title: Obstetric and general Sonographer

Salary: £40 per hour

Hours: Permanent - Part Time. 20 hours per week 

Location: Newry

 

About the Role

With many years of experience at the top of the field, our client uses their expertise to produce highly detailed non-invasive imaging analysis of the human body. Due to expansion, our client is looking to recruit an Obstetrics and General Sonographer to join an Ultrasound team based in Newry on a part time permanent basis.  This role is based on 20 hours per week from Monday to Sunday.

 

Duties and responsibilities

• To independently provide obstetrics and general scanning services.
• To independently produce a clinical report in line with healthcare standards, for each completed scan.
• Provide a high-quality professional experience for patients, supporting them throughout the process.
• Undertake administrative duties ensuring patient information systems are up to date and maintained.
• Participate in matters concerning clinical governance, clinical audits, and quality assurance.

 

Skills and Requirements

• Relevant medical degree (including but not limited to radiography, midwifery, nursing)
• One years previous experience desirable 
• Competency in obstetrics and general sonography
• Proven competency in verbal and written communication including report writing
