B5 Digital Content Editor

We are currently recruiting for a temporary Digital Content Editor for an initial 6 month contract for the Public Health Agency based in Belfast.  Salary set £14.53ph.  Full time hours: Monday to Friday 0900 - 1700.  Hybrid working available. 

 

KEY AREAS:

 

The postholder will be responsible as part of the Public Health Agency’s (PHA’s) communications team for the development and delivery of a high-quality digital communications service to the agency’s corporate, health topic and intranet websites.

 

The postholder will support the programme of work to create, publish, manage and maintain a range of information to promote and advance core elements of the PHA’s programme of work.

 

The postholder will work with a range of stakeholders from across the PHA and wider HSC organisations, and liaise with outside suppliers, to deliver content which supports the advancement of the PHA’s digital communications strategy

 

Criteria:

 

✅ Degree or equivalent professional qualification, in a relevant subject such as Journalism, Communications English or digital media and at least 1 years’ experience working in a role involving writing and editing content for website

 

OR

 

5 years’ experience in a role involving digital media that includes writing and editing content for websites.

 

AND

 

✅ Experience in the use of the following:

• Microsoft Office, InDesign, Photoshop or other publishing tools

• Web content Management Systems e.g. WordPress and Drupal.

• Web measurement and reporting tools.

• Search engine optimisation techniques e.g. metatags

✅ Hold a current full driving licence
