Band 6 Occupational Therapist (Part-time)

The SE Trust currently have a vacant band 6 post, initially for 3 months within the Early Review Team.

This is a peripatetic post in the South Eastern Trust, between UHD, Lagan Valley and Downe.

The Early Review Team aim is to ensure timely hospital discharges and maximise patient flow through the hospital sites.

They  focus on delivering a quick-response service, offering person-centred Occupational Therapy assessments and intervention in a patient’s own home rather in an acute hospital bed.

They strive towards high quality care provision and maximising a person’s independence whilst recycling essential domiciliary care hours back into the healthcare system.

They would require an Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years’ experience to include acute or community rehabilitation/reablement setting.

The Occupational Therapist would need to have a driving license and access to a car.
